The following are called the parts of speech.
- Noun: It refers to a person , place or a thing. example boy, school, chair etc
- Verb: An action or an activity is called verb. For example, play ,go , write, think etc
- Pronoun : Pronouns are words which are used in place of a noun to avoid repeating noun again and again in a sentence. For example , he ,she it, I , we, you , they etc
- Adverb : An adverb modifies the meaning of a verb, adjective or an other adverb in a sentence. Examples are severly, smoothly, fairly, perfectly etc
- Preposition : Preposition is a world which relates subject with a noun or object in a sentence. Examples are in ,on ,at , of ,for etc
- Conjunction: Words or a word that links or joints two words or sentences. For example for, and , nor, but , or, yet , so , while, meanwhile, however, besides etc
- Adjective : This shows the quality ,quantity, size, shape, age, colour, origion and material of someone or something. For example, happy, good, tall, old, blue , etc
- Interjection: Words that show sorrow or hapiness. For example hurrah !, Ugh, alas, bravo,
